What the heck is ChiChi Mongo?!
If you really want to know the truth, ChiChi Mongo was my childhood best friend.
I’m not sure where exactly she came from, but it was definitely somewhere far away. I mean, it’s not every day you see a white monkey. They’re pretty rare. Anyway, we met at a shop where I bought her some fabulous pearl dangle earrings, and we became inseparable. As a matter of fact, she still hangs out at my house!
ChiChi Mongo is fun, playful, a little quirky, and full of adventure. She’s unforgettable and one-of-a-kind. She knows just what to say (even if it’s a little irreverent sometimes). I bet she’s a lot like you. With all that spunk, I had to name the studio after her, don’t you think?
Inside the Studio
Wonder where I get my inspiration? There’s a story for that! Just like you, I’m on a long-haul journey, and sometimes it’s a wild ride. I’m spilling the beans about my adventures and how I turn them into art.
Yeah, I make some pretty cool stuff, but what I really want is for you to boldly be you! Meaning: wherever you are, I want to be there to make your day brighter and give you a smile. Smiles are the best!
ChiChi Mongo is a small studio with a big heart. It’s taken time to define my style and create something unique and meaningful that expresses not only who I am and want to be but that inspires your dreams too.

Hey there! My name is Stacey — the artist and adventurer behind ChiChi Mongo. As a location independent artist, my bold and bright illustrations are inspired by nature and the places I explore.
Imagine bold corals popped from bromeliads, clear blues swiped from a glacial lake, and sparkling pinks borrowed from an armadillo. Wait, what?!
Ok, so I do take some creative license here and there to create something fun and unexpected. And isn’t that the point? We all have the power to mix it up and do something unexpected! So, yes, pink armadillos, please!
My goal? To ignite your imagination and spread smiles. I want you to not only have unique art to make your home more you, but I want to inspire you to be more YOU in general!
